With over 25 years in the cosmetology industry, I have had the opportunity to work alongside some of its top leaders. I trained and worked under celebrity stylists such as Philip Pelusi and Jill Turnbull, and through them had the privilege of joining their styling teams for events like Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and the Washington Ballet. I have also worked in film and television, providing hair, makeup, and styling services.
My background comes from a long line of cosmetologists and educators, which gave me the perfect environment to learn and grow in this craft. Because of that foundation, I have a deep love and passion for hair education and product theory. Over the years, I have also become an advanced color educator, retail educator, and Image Maker Consultant, allowing me to educate not only fellow stylists but clients as well. I also hold a B.A. in psychology, which helps me better understand and meet my clients’ needs.
